PROFESSION FEATURES / PARTY PREPARATION
WoW Forever camping buff planner
Choose camp features that add something your group needs. Match your professions to useful buffs, leave out overlaps, and take one material checklist with you.
Your adventure
Who can contribute?
Start with this example party, then enter your group. Each person needs the learned feature and the listed profession skill. One person can place one feature.
Class buffs already active (0)
Select buffs you actually have. A class in the party does not guarantee the spell, talent, or rank is available. Checked categories are left out of the plan.
WoW Forever camp buffs: what stacks?
A camp feature and its corresponding class buff are mutually exclusive. Use this table to find an uncovered category. Variable numbers are Blizzard’s published level ranges, not a promise of the value at your current level.

Rules and effects checked November 2, 2026 against Blizzard’s camping overview (October 21). Recipes and reagents use our bundled beta build 1.60.1.70205. Blizzard calls the Fishing feature “Fishing Bowl”; its client recipe is named “Fish Bowl.” Mining is not assigned a buff because the official sample table does not specify one.
How to choose the best camp buffs for your class
Start with your role, then remove benefits already supplied by your group. A useful solo camp can be a redundant dungeon camp. The planner favors the priorities below and assigns each feature to a different eligible contributor.
Warrior, rogue, and melee leveling
Strength, critical strike, and broad stat benefits are the melee starting priorities. A warrior with Blacksmithing can supply a Sharpening Wheel, but that uses the warrior’s one contribution: the same player cannot also supply a First Aid Kit at that camp. Add another contributor or let the planner choose the more useful category.
Mage, warlock, and spell damage
Intellect and critical strike lead the spell-damage priorities. If Arcane Intellect is already active, check it in the planner to remove Incense Candle from the recommendations. A mage in the party is not automatically treated as an active buff; you control what is actually covered.
Priest and other healers
Mana regeneration, Intellect, and Spirit lead the healing priorities. Mark Power Word: Fortitude or Divine Spirit as active only when you have them. Faction Banner serves members of the contributor’s faction, so plan with eligible friendly contributors.
Hunter, druid, paladin, and shaman roles
Hunters have a separate ranged priority that skips Strength. Druids start with survival priorities; paladins and shamans start with melee priorities. Change the Priority field for a caster or healer build. Class selection is a starting preference, not a claim that every spec values a buff equally.
How the planner works
- Enter contributors and their professions. Skill below 20 makes a listed starter feature unavailable.
- Select the campfire capacity and any class buffs already active.
- The planner checks combinations that fit the available contributors, with no repeated feature and no player assigned twice.
- Use the combined checklist to gather materials. Open each recipe for its individual reagents and source record.
The recommendations use a fixed priority score for each role. They do not estimate damage, compare class-buff ranks, or interpolate unpublished level scaling. The checklist counts one craft per feature and leaves any Legacy reagent reductions for you to verify in game.
WoW Forever camping questions
Do camp buffs stack with class buffs?
Not with the corresponding class buff in the table. For example, Incense Candle overlaps Arcane Intellect and Enchanted Lute overlaps Mark of the Wild. This does not mean every camp feature conflicts with every other buff.
How many features can a Basic Campfire hold?
A Basic Campfire supports three additional features. Upgraded campfires support five or ten. Each contributor can add one feature, so a higher capacity still needs enough eligible players.
How long do you need to sit at a camp?
Sit or craft nearby for at least one minute to receive feature benefits. The base camp buffs last one hour, and placing camp features shares a one-hour cooldown. The planner does not adjust duration or cooldown for Legacy perks.
Does Camp Tent keep adding 5% rested XP?
No. It fills the rested pool up to 5% of a level and has no effect when you already exceed that amount. At 2% rested XP, that means a top-up of up to 3 percentage points. It does not promise faster offline rest or repeated gains from remaining seated.
What profession skill unlocks camp features?
The listed profession features start at skill 20, with recipes learned through introductory quests or trainers. Later blueprints have other requirements. This tool plans the published starter effects and assumes each contributor has learned the assigned recipe.
Can I plan a camp by myself?
Yes. Remove the example contributors until only you remain. The planner assigns one feature, even if your two primary professions and secondary skills could make several different ones.
