What World of Warcraft: Forever is
A separate game, not a season
Blizzard describes World of Warcraft: Forever as a permanent game that sits beside modern World of Warcraft and WoW Classic. It is not presented as a temporary season or as another name for Season of Discovery.
Characters adventure on the original continents and progress to level 60. The published setting is after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core.
Dates that are actually published
Beta access began Thursday, September 17, 2026. Global launch is November 4, 2026. Blizzard's announcement pages have used both 3:00 p.m. PDT and 3:00 p.m. PST for that launch.
Access at launch is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. Optional pre-purchase editions exist, and some of them include earlier beta access.
