The September character article also prints racial traits. Kaivax's October 26 notes changed Human, Dwarf, Tauren, Orc, and Skyborne after that article. Those notes are a later racial pass, not a new grid. The figures stay in the October 26 racial changes.5

Which races can be a Paladin in WoW Forever?

A WoW Forever Paladin can be Undead, Human, or Dwarf on Blizzard's September grid. Undead is the only Horde row with a Paladin X. Human and Dwarf are the Alliance rows with a Paladin X. Orc, Tauren, Troll, and both Skyborne rows are blank in the Paladin column.1

Blizzard's grid header says Skyborne on both factions. The intro maps Horde-aligned Windshapers to Shaman and Alliance High Order to Mage. The Skyborne article uses the full names Windshaper Skyborne and High Order Skyborne for those two rows.1

Which races can be a Shaman in WoW Forever?

A WoW Forever Shaman can be Orc, Tauren, Troll, Dwarf, or the Horde Skyborne row in Blizzard's September grid. Dwarf is the only Alliance row with a Shaman mark. The character article's intro says Horde-aligned Windshapers can become Shaman. High Order Skyborne, Human, Gnome, and Night Elf are blank in the Shaman column.1

Orc, Tauren, and Troll have Shaman marks that Blizzard's new-combination sentence leaves out. Dwarf Shaman is in the new-combination sentence. Windshaper Skyborne supplies the Shaman mark on the Horde Skyborne row.1

Which classes can each race play in WoW Forever?

Each WoW Forever race plays the classes marked with an X on Blizzard's September grid. Those X marks total 56 combinations, with 28 on the Horde table and 28 on the Alliance table. Warrior is marked on every race row. Rogue is marked on every row except Tauren.1

The race and class guide lists those six combinations. Beta leveling reports are in the leveling-class article.

Does the WoW Forever class list include Death Knight?

Death Knight is not named as a class in the WoW Forever character article. Blizzard's character article lists nine classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior. The character article does not say the nine-class list is temporary or that another class will be added later.1

When can you create a WoW Forever race and class?

Choosing a WoW Forever race and class means creating the character. Blizzard's pre-purchase article dates Early Name Reservation from October 27 through November 3, 2026, PST. Creating the character reserves the name, and the reservation window allows three characters in one shared pool. Launch is November 4, 2026.34

Open clocks differ by region. The name-reservation guide lists Europe, North America, Korea, and Taiwan. The Forever overview records both November 4 clocks. A subscription or Game Time is required outside the Invite-a-Friend window in the invite guide.3
